This is a short documentary initially broadcast on 3rd June 2002 by Channel 5 as part of the ´Most Evil Men and Women in History´ series, (which was the follow-up to the early ´Most Evil Men in History´series that C5 showed in 2001) and was produced by the UK company Uden Associates and lasts 23:20 minutes. This version was taken from the Discovery Civilizations channel. 

Bloody Mary 

This follows the life and times of Queen Mary I of England (18 February 1516 – 17 November 1558) who became Queen after the death her half-brother (Edward VI) who shared the same father (Henry VIII). In Henry´s time the Catholic church in England was abolished and these actions were followed on by his son. Mary, a fervent Catholic, decide to reverse this by force if need be and the results earned her the nickname of Bloody Mary.
