Description

 Made for French television and constructed from outtakes from Robbe-Grillet's previous film L'Eden et après, N. a pris les dés employs the same cast with only the fictional names of the characters changing. The title is an anagram generated from L'Eden et après and similar to that film its protagonist, Violette, is a young girl who has a series of drug induced adventures in the Tunisian desert. At the end, she realizes that all of her encounters have been due to her being the center of a televised game, thus making TV and spectatorship a central concern in the film.
