Softmods - USB Loading



Load with ONE of the following cIOS 





- Set to load with one of the following - 




	

		cIOS 250 [57 Base] Rev 19
	

		cIOS 250 [57 Base] Rev 20
	

		cIOS 249 [57 Base] Rev 19
	

		CIOS 249 [57 Base] Rev 20
	

		cIOS 224 [57 Base] v5.1




	

		If you Followed Stomps Hermes IOS Guide to install IOS224 then you already have this cIOS
	

		If you followed one of Mauifrog's guide to softmod your Wii - Load the game with IOS250 or 224



Please Note : The only loaders that support IOS224 are Cfg Loader, Wiiflow and Uloader.If you already have Wad Manager start at Step 3. 



1. Download -- WAD-Manager_v1.7.rar -- OR any version of WM. 



2. Extract the RAR file to the SD Root. OR --- place the "WAD-Manager_v1.7" folder inside your apps folder (after extraction). 


	

		SD:/apps/WAD-Manager_v1.7/boot.dol

3. Wad Files go in the Wad folder on your SD (SD:/wad/xxxxxx.wad)

4. Launch Wad Manager Via HBC -- Select IOS249 -- (OR IOS36, IOS236, IOS250) -- Press A

5. NAND Emulation -- Disabled -- Press A ---- Wii SD Slot -- Press A

6. Select the wad you want to install -- Press A To Install -- Wait -- Press HOME When finished.



How to set the Loader to use a certain cIOS


	

		Configurable USB Loader -> Select The Game-> Press 1 to go into Options-> IOS = Select which cIOS you want to use for the game -- Press 2 to save


	

		WiiFlow -> Use a different boot ios .dol orSelect a Game -> Go into Settings-> Page 2-> IOS = Select which cIOS you want to use


	

		ULoader -> Select a game-> Configure->cIOS/Boot-> Select the cIOS you want to use.


	

		USB Loader GX ->Select The Game -> Settings -> Game Load -> IOS = Select which cIOS you want to use for the game-- Select "Save" to save

To install & play off disc:

1. Download Wii Backup Manager ->  http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=188295  

2. Use Wii Backup Manager to convert .wbfs file to an .iso file

3. Burn .iso to DVD-R (lowest speed)

4. Enjoy! 



To install & play off WBFS Partition on USB Drive or SD card:

1. Download Wii Backup Manager ->  http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=188295  

2. Use Wii Backup Manager to add .wbfs file to your partition.

3. Enjoy!



To install & play off FAT32/NTFS Partition on USB Drive or SD card:

1. Download and install Configurable USB Loader ->  http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=147638  

2. Create a WBFS folder in the root of your FAT32/NTFS Partition.

3. Copy the torrent download into the WBFS folder

4. Use Configurable USB Loader to play

5. Enjoy!
