It is rare enough to mention it, NAZCA comes from a French area which doesn't usually fit with rock music, that is the island of La Réunion ! Yet this is one of the best melodic hard-rock groups of the country. The mini-CD "Reaching Your Soul" was published in July 1997 and surprised both the national and international press. Dennis WARD (VANDEN PLAS, ANGRA?) joined the band in the studio and helped recording the first album "The White Wheel" in January 2001, that will finally be published two years later on the Brennus label. The German audience, which is known to be very hard to please as far as heavy-metal is concerned, seems already conquered. It's a real discovery you shouldn't miss !

I own this and several other albums by this group, and was searching to see if there was anything new out for them. I absolutely love their music. It relaxes me, motivates me, makes me part of their notes. I would highly recommend.

This is a very promissing debut album from a band that is working in 2004 between Paris and Reunion Island to record a 2nd album.
The singer (nicknamed "blanc blanc") sings in english and has a superb voice close to Toto's Steve Lukather's voice or some powerful scandinavian hard rock singers. This CD includes a beautiful instrumental track called "Strange" : it sounds like a Van Halen track.
The CD contains lyrics and pictures of the band.
