 OK i found the problem why disk 2 3 4 is not working u dont no need to redownload just change some stuff on disk  2 3 4 edit and overwright it with poweriso

so what u have to do it download poweriso and use the cd key.. for it 
then go to downloads,finalfantasy 8 click disk 2 do for disk 3 and 4
it should open now.. 
right click each one click on rename.. u will see a space.. inbtween 3 of them... 
this is what thay look like with spaced wich

it cashes the game now unspace them so thay look like this
FIELD.FI
FIELD.FL
FIELD.FS 
do it for disk 2 3 and 4 and overright/save wich  ur game should not crash any more when loading the disks.. my mastake.. happy gameing..

GAME INSTALL MANUAL

UPLOADED By Shootinkill the game works for me if and problems 
post comment and only if u have READ the hole install manual wich is not long..

how to install and setup

all u have to do is extract the 
install folder click install or month it with daemon tools ect 

u can brun all disk 1 2 3 4 5 to a disk with 4.7gb disk or less..
unrar them and past them all in there dont over copy the files 
when puting the 1 2 3 4 unrars in a cd

or mount it to daemon tools 
now to do that u have to install the game first then
 
press start Accessories run then type regedit click enter 

when it pops up  click folder in order 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE  SOFTWARE  Square Soft, Inc  FINAL FANTASY VIII  1.00

if did right u well see 
data drive or disk drive right click modif
change e: to your daemon tools 
drive wich can be found under start/my computer and says hd dvd drive -rom drive (yourDrive:)

now for vista computers its the same thing but when u go to play the game click run as admin other wise it wont work   
now for ff8 config icon right click run as adim for vista computers 
well pop up click tab graphics
and change it to software render  and start playing
