Description:

X-Men: First Class is a comic book series about 
the X-Men. It takes place during the starting 
years of the X-Men featuring the X-Men's 
original lineup.

The original series was an eight-issue 
mini-series.It began in September 2006 
and ended in April 2007. The mini-series was 
written by Jeff Parker and penciled by Roger 
Cruz. The series exceeded expectations and 
was a critical success. As a result, it was 
followed by a Special in May of 2007 and a 
monthly series started in June 2007 with 
the same creative team.

Most stories are done in one-shot tales, 
but some tales will be two parters. The 
original team of X-Men are wearing new 
costumes in the series, so readers will 
know that the stories are new. The series 
guest-stars many other popular characters, 
such as Lizard, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, 
Man-Thing, Gorilla-Man, and Thor.
