 From 1999 to 2006 All India Radio evolved from a DJ Shadow-esque solo act with world music flavours into a post-rock instrumental band, collecting along the way numerous accolades including a John Peel album of the week, ABC Radio National album of the week, a number 2 on the AIR charts, music in the US TV series One Tree Hill, Michael Moore’s hit film Sicko and numerous Australian TV series, an ARIA nomination and a record deal with Chicago based label Minty Fresh.
