 About Kismet
Kismet is a indie rock quintet originated from Utrecht, Netherlands. Influenced by the likes of Cursive, Depeche Mode, Blonde Redhead and The Get Up Kids, the group was founded in the winter of 2002. After releasing two E.P.s the bands line-up solidified in 2006 and started focussing on a debut full-length album which they released early 2009. Kismets sound is characterized by their dynamic compositions, combining complicated songstructures with a seemless melody and catchy vocals.

In this torrent you'll find their official debut 'Hiatus' plus a special acoustic version of this album originally titled `Seven Songs Of Our Previous Record ‘Hiatus’ Performed Acoustically So They’ll Sound A Little Different But Not Necessarily Worse’

Beep! Beep! Back up the Truck is the first Dutch record label to distribute their complete discography for free under a Creative Commons licence. By using this licence all of our releases can be fully streamed and downloaded for free online, as it should be!  

Still, our main focus is releasing and promoting hardcopy albums. Since our digital stuff is free we put a lot of effort in creating beautiful artwork which you can show off to your friends.
