For Beginners: 
This download contains Windows XP Home in an image, which is basically a copy of a disc but on your computer and needs to be mounted so you can use it. Mounted means using a program that will make a virtual disc drive and make your computer think it is a real one. Using Daemon-Tools: Make sure you use the link above as it is the free version (Daemon-Tools Lite). Look down to system tray area on the taskbar and right click the Daemon-Tools symbol, (if it is not there then run Daemon-Tools and it will appear). After right clicking select "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM", then "Device 0" and then click mount image now locate the ISO you downloaded and open it. It will now show as a disc drive in my computer. If you need to burn the disc then there are programs available such as Alcohol 120%, Nero, PowerISO, MagicISO etc. 

For Non-Beginners: 
The file is a *.ISO file (which when burnt is bootable) and is uncompressed as of yet. 

Also you will need your own key or keygen software. 

For any of you are thinking this is a useless torrent it is mainly aimed for people who have a key printed on the sticker on their PC but do not have a disc to reinstall windows, and for those wanting it without a key you can as above download a keygen program or a similar program of your choice.

• 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features) 

• 1.5 gigabyte (GB) of available hard disk space.* 

• Super VGA (800 × 600) or higher resolution video adapter and monitor 

• CD-ROM or DVD drive 

• Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
