Description

 First things first mount the 1st disk using DAEMON tools and then simply install, when approached to insert disk 2, simply mount disk 2 and press ok to
continue installing, after that has finished you're all done.

Now mount the 1st disk again and manually open the cd and there will be a folder named crack, open the folder and copy the two cracks into the games directory, 
so by default that would be C:Program FilesMetal Gear Solid once inside the directory you have to paste the two files in the crack folder, you will then
be prompted to if you would like to overwrite the two existing files in the directory, click yes and then wahey bob you're uncle the game should run.

Now this is for Vista users, extract the two files from the "Fixed Executables" RAR file and repeat the 
same steps as the origional copying of the crack, now if this doesnt work i really dont know what to suggest, apart from research maybe, the 
"Fixed Executables" is designed for vista and therfore should run fine, I had a few troubles myself getting it to work on vista but luckily came across these patch files.

NOTE to XP users:

If you have trouble getting the game to run i suggest perhaps trying to use the files in the "Fixed Executables" file, I havent tried, for I no longer have XP but
it may be worht a shot, but you really shouldn't have any problems.
