Following an audacious theft from a high security museum, the mysterious Lady Christina (Ryan) makes a daring escape onto a London bus where she encounters the Doctor. Soon the pair are transported via a wormhole to an unknown desert planet where they encounter a deadly swarm of aliens who are capable of devouring humans. 

Aided by eccentric scientist Malcolm (Evans), the duo face a race against time to unlock the secrets of the alien planet and stop the terrifying swarm from wiping out every human on Earth.
